Sesame Avocats, since 2017

After 10 years advising start-ups on Labor and Employment law at a firm specialising in new technologies and telecommunications at the height of the internet bubble, Barbara and Sébastien joined forces to set up the employment department of an international law firm, where Sébastien was to head the practice for fifteen years.

2017

It was with Sophie and Mathieu, then senior associates in their team, driven by the same values and by the shared desire to undertake and practise within a firm that reflected their image, that they set up Sesame Avocats together in 2017, specialising in Labor and Employment law. They have built up a long-standing relationship of trust with their long-standing clients, and are rapidly expanding the firm by recruiting several young associates.

2022

In 2022, Anne-Carine and Laure joined them to complete and strengthen the range of services offered to clients. Laure, who specialises in Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate law, is a long-standing partner of Sesame Avocats, with whom they have worked on a number of cases. She worked for a number of leading international firms before setting up and running her own practice.

Anne-Carine, who specialises in Commercial and Equity litigation and has been trained in Amicable Dispute Resolution, was previously a partner in the same international law firm, where she remained for almost 20 years. She works on complex cross-functional issues, particularly in negotiations concerning the departure of senior executives or disputes between partners.

2024

In 2024, Héloïse de la Chesnais was co-opted as a partner in the employment law department. Héloïse, who took part in the creation of Sesame Avocats, will strengthen the firm's offering, thanks in particular to her strong expertise in the Labor law aspects of restructuring.
